For our relationship to fully realise these improvements Shawston must, on a best-price basis, win and sustain a significant number of orders.


Order performance – Currently x% of target

Our modelling, given our product range, pricing strategy and on-time-in-full performance suggests that we should be able to secure some x% of orders. After x months our run rate is just x% of this target. 




Pricing performance –68% conversion from quote to order

We have now completed our pricing fine tuning based on your order profile.  Although it is early days we have achieved a 68% success rate from quote to order on a best-price basis against two competitive quotes. This tells us that our pricing is very keen and has the potential to meet your cost objectives.



Delivery performance – 98% on time in full

We have sustained our policy of no next day order cut-off.  Your people can place orders any time during office open hours (9am until 5pm Monday to Friday) for nationwide next-day delivery.

Our on-time in-full performance (with no balances to be delivered later) for Spie reflects our national performance and is at 98%.


Our improvement plan – 5% discount on all orders until 31st March 2017.

The current quote and order run-rates do not meet your ambitions nor ours.  Analysis of quotes suggests that enquiries are coming from less than 10 people and that the most common reason we fail to convert quotes to orders is when the request includes items we don’t stock. 

To address these issues we are investing more in your business.  To raise awareness of us and our product range it has been agreed that over the next two months we will, at our own cost, communicate with all relevant Spie staff.  To give them a further incentive give us a try we are also offering a further 5% off orders despatched before 31st March 2017*.  This discount is over and above our agreement and is an investment by us in our relationship with Spie.
